Custom Banners for fellow etsians!

The other day someone asked me where I got my etsy banner- if I made it myself. I did :). So it got me thinking I should create and sell banners for others! I added some to my shop just today. I haven't sold anything as of yet, but I am not too discouraged- the sellers on etsy have been very encouraging! I also revamped the photos for my handmade cards, and I think they look a lot better now!

Someone suggested I do adoption announcements along with birth ones, and i thought that was a wonderful idea! I am going to add those soon! My friend said i can use her baby as a model on my cards, so he will be featured on the adoption announcement, even though he wasn't adopted. As cute as Odin is, I think it's nice to showcase some other adorable babies!

Right now Odin is playing on our little step up from the living room to the dining room... He actually climbed on top of it very briefly. He is getting better at playing by himself!

Listed another item/lunch with a friend

I listed another item yesterday on my etsy shop! It is a 2 page baby boy scrapbook layout. More of these to come, and I will do custom pages as well! I am also working on a multipack of handmade cards for various occasions.

Yesterday a friend stopped in town on her way to Texas with her boys. Many of you know her as Shae :) It was great to finally meet her in person, and spend time with her kids. I admire her for traveling so many miles with them by herself. I don't think I could do it! Odin is whining at me so I better go get him breakfast. I will post more pics of him soon!

My New Etsy Shop!

Hi everyone! I plan to use this blog to update family and friends, as well as to share products and news from my new shop. It's called A Joyful Vision, and I sell custom photo cards, birth announcements, invitations, and more. I am also in the process of adding handmade cards and scrapbook pages. In other news, Odin is almost 8 months old and on the brink of crawling. He is very good at getting up on his hands and knees and scooting forwards. He is also a pig when it comes to eating- any food, any time is his motto. Or it would be if he could speak! Last night we went in the hot tub with him- he made his pouty face at first, but then he was splashing away with his cousins. Although splashing in a hot tub does not make for a very relaxing time. But it was still cute!
